The Selection Process
The Community Water-Wise Awards selection process consists of two elements: an online application and an on-site evaluation. The process was developed to be simple for you with minimal time requirements. If you think your landscape is a winner, we encourage you to fill out the online application today!

Step 1 – Online Application
The online application takes between five and 10 minutes to complete, and is available by clicking here. You will be asked to fill in some basic information and to complete a simple checklist about your landscape. You will also need to upload a recent photo of your landscape. If you do not have a recent photo available, you can write a brief description of your landscape.

Simply complete the online form and submit it no later than June 30, 2011 for this year's program.

Step 2 – On-site Evaluation
If your landscape meets the basic criteria for the awards based on your application, a local Florida Yards and Neighborhoods representative will contact you to schedule an on-site evaluation of your landscape and irrigation. The evaluations are completed during regular business hours. While applicants need not be present during the evaluation, judges will need access to all areas of the landscape as well as the irrigation system controller, if applicable. Pets must be secured during this process.
